David S asked:
Considering I live in SoCal and it’s always sunny, I have never needed them on the slopes before, but I’m going snowboarding in S. Lake Tahoe in February and last year it was snowing like crazy. Does anyone know of some goggles that aren’t a fortune but will not fog that I can actually SEE out of when they’re wet? Thanks.

I like Oakley, mainly because their lenses are remarkably clear, and they are also rated to high impact standards

I am a pretty big fan of smith goggles myself. The majority of the mountains I have been to carry smith goggles in their pro shops along with lenses. If conditions change and you need a different lens you will should be able to get it in the pro shop also. The warranty is great on them and if you have a problem with your goggles on the mountain and they are in warranty the pro shop will generally switch them out for you.

Oakley a-frames by far. they’re the only goggles i’ve had that i can take off on a ski lift, with snow in them, soaking wet, wipe them off, put them back on and then not fog up. they’re comfortable too. you can get them on ebay for a lot less then retail
