man, there’s snow raising on the back-turn sayin he’s more sliding than carving on that turn.. would be really interesting how he’s performing on harder track’s than this one.
somehow ridiculous regarding it’s sayin ‘Advanced Snowboarding Tips’ on the top of it..
Once you know how to carve slowing down is a simple technique. For example, let’s say you’re snowboarding left foot forward and you’re carving on the inside. Meaning you’re leaning forward. Simply push more on your back foot (right) and slightly twist your body, this will start to bring your snowboard in horizontal brake position. From there apply w/e amount of pressure you need to completely stop or slow down.
dig you edge in and equalize the pressure your applying then that will stop you if you do it to long so you need to do if for a second or 2 then right back to carving..plz pm me if im wrong..im just telling what i learned from a lesson
LoL I went in Brighton UTAH Today for my first time… I think the more the fall the better your learn… but seeing how he carves the board. gives mes a good idea how you just gotta do it and find your balance.

I totally agree on the skidding on his fs carve.
I can’t believe every “expert”village video on snowboarding says “Learn how to…”. You can’t learn carving by watching a 82 second video.
